Xie Rongren, or Xie Yong, named the lord of blue sea building. He was born in 1958 in Xiamen.

His calligraphy and painting works were participated in the National Book Fair, Painting Exhibition, and won award. He had got the highest prize “National Award” in the fifth seal calligraphy exhibition in 1992 for his antithetical couplet. And in 1998, his calligraphy was collected into “Zhongnanhai Treasure Calligraphy”. What’s more, he awarded the “The Hundred Flowers Award” , "Literature and Art Prize", and other important awards.

Calligraphy works were selected to the Nationwide authoritative successive exhibition held by China Calligraphy Association for many times, what’s more, he won the highest prize “National Prize” in the 5th National Handwriting &Seal Cutting Exhibition.   

 Mr.Xie had been to the following exhibitions:

The landscape painting “Viewing the Sun on the Cloud”was selected to the “Fujian Art Exhibition”held by Fujian Art Association; and he won “Wuyi Calligraphy Achievement Award”by the Fujian Calligraphy, the first “The Hundred Flowers Award“ by Fujian government, and the first “Literature and Art Prize”by Xiamen government.

 In 2010， he won “Outstanding Contribution Prize” in the 60th anniversary of the Xiamen Federation by the municipal party committee and municipal government. . Since 2002 he was a judge in the successive Xiamen Literature and Art Prize in Xiamen.
